Anne Leonard

Anne Patrice Leonard born August 16, 1960, in the Nebraska Sandhills, passed away on April 23, 2026 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Anne was a longtime resident at Sunrise Country Manor (Milford Manor). She enjoyed the outdoors, horses, and dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Don & Juanita; she is survived by her 3 siblings and their families. Laurie Trautwein (Lary), Matt Leonard (Mary Ellen), and Jill Leonard (Kathleen Taylor). As well as her nephews and nieces and their families; Taner Trautwein, Lane Trautwein, Kyle Leonard, Kristi Leonard, and Kevin Leonard.

The family will remember Anne at a private ceremony. If you wish to make a monetary donation, please consider donating to your local animal shelter in Anne’s name. However, as you finish reading this maybe grab a bag of plain M&M’s, go outside, find a bench to enjoy the peace of nature, listen and watch the birds and love on a dog along the way. Head to the ice cream shop with a little bit of Johnny Cash in the background and know that Anne Patrice is sitting on her daddy’s lap, black felt hat on his head and enjoying a bite of ice cream with her mom. That’s the simple memorial that will mean the most.
