In Loving Memory Of Coleen J. Vosta A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Bellwood Mennonite Church, Milford (due to construction at Milford Mennonite), with Pastor Tim Springer officiating. Interment will be held with family at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Milford Mennonite Cemetery. Pallbearers are Matt Meierdierks, Mitch Meierdierks, Dan Schweitzer, Dean Schweitzer, Joe Stolpe, Andrew Stolpe. Visitation is from 1-5 pm at Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Milford and with family greeting family and friends from 6-8 pm at Bellwood Mennonite Church. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be directed in care of the family for future designation. Coleen J. "Coke" Vosta, 56, was born December 28, 1957 in Friend, Nebraska to Cleo and Arlene Schweitzer and passed away on May 24, 2014 at her home in Milford surrounded by her family. She is a 1976 graduate of Centennial High School and married John Vosta on March 5, 1977. They made their home on farm east of Milford where they lived for 37 years, raised their children, and watched their grandsons play. She was an amazing farm wife, delivering meals to the field that were better than most meals others ate in their homes. She loved "junking" at antique stores, sewing blankets, cooking, baking, and was always finding new recipes to try. She enjoyed traveling anywhere she could, collecting antique quilts along the way and decorating her home with them. She loved working in her shop, building "decor" for her home as well as gifts for her children, family, and friends. She was the heart and soul of the Sister Act greenhouse for 13 years and loved taking care of the plants and creating beautiful planters. The greatest joys of her life were her three grandsons, Samuel, Austin and Brayson. Of all the titles she could have had in her life, "Grammy" was the one that mattered most to her. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. She will be dearly missed by her husband, John Vosta, daughter and son-in-law, Cairee and Jorin Masley, Lincoln, son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Lindsey (Troyer) Vosta, Milford; three grandsons, Samuel and Austin Vosta and Brayson Masley; Diana Schweitzer, Milford, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ron and Phyllis Vosta, Milford; sister and brother-in-law, Carma and Mark Meierdierks, Milford, brother and sister-in-law, Don and Tammy Schweitzer, Warsaw, MO, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pat and Doug Friedli, Nebraska City, Peg and Mike Struebing, Omaha, Bonnie and Tom Kemper, Crete, Sally and Steve Frick, Omaha, Debbie and Tom Hershberger, Lincoln; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, her Yaya's and many other friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo and Arlene Schweitzer, aunt, Myrna Roth, sister-in-law, Nancy Schweitzer, brother-in-law, Steve Anderson.
