In Loving Memory Of Everett B. and Ina M. Cogswell A Graveside Service will be held on May 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Andrew Cemetery with Rev. Ken Leischner officiating. Local arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Friend. Memorials have been established to the Friend United Church of Christ. Everett Beverly Cogswell was born June 6, 1920 at Friend, Nebraska to Elsie B. and Bertha (Aitken) Cogswell and passed away on April 16, 2011 at Mission Viejo, CA. As a young boy he attended school in Friend and graduated with the class of 1936. Ina Margaret Cogswell was born on March 28, 1919 in Friend, Nebraska to John Russell and Minnie (Hartman) Stewart and passed away on November 14, 2013 at Mission Viejo, CA. As a young girl she attended school in Friend and graduated with the class of 1936. Everett and Ina were united in marriage on April 4, 1940 in Bellville, Kansas and to this union a daughter, Betty Ann, and a son, William Stewart, were born. They made their home in southern California for over 65 years. Ina was a busy homemaker and mother and Everett was a banker for over 40 years in a managerial position. They both were avid golfers and longtime members of the Glendora Country Club. They traveled the world during their retirement. They are survived by their daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Robert Wattles, Mission Viejo, CA, son and daughter-in-law, William and Debra Cogswell, San Mateo, CA, three granddaughters, Lynnette Carey, Stacy Sanchez and Meghan Froloff, one grandson, Timothy, 5 great-granddaughters, 1 great-grandson. Everett was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Lester, Orville and G. Haskel, and one sister, Verda Stewart. Ina was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Frank and John Stewart, and two sisters, Bernice Halstead and Merna Bates.
