Fredetta E. Roth Obituary (1929

Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, East Fairview Mennonite Church, Milford, with Pastors Bill Saltzman and Kyle Roth officiating. Interment is in East Fairview Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday 2:00 pm to 5:00 p.m. at Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Milford. Family will greet relatives and friends from 6:30-8:30 pm at the church Sunday. Viewing also 1 hour prior to services at church. Memorials to the East Fairview Mennonite Church. Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Milford, is entrusted with the care and arrangements. Fredetta Evelyn Roth was born July 1, 1929, on a farm east of Milford, Nebraska to Jake & Esther Roth, the oldest of 6 children and went to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Crestview Care Center in Milford at the age 82 years 11 months and 9 days. She attended Glendale Country School. Fredetta accepted Christ as her personal Savior at East Fairview Mennonite Church, was baptized and became a faithful member. Fredetta lived her entire life on the farm until she moved into town in 1975. She loved to sew and crochet and for many years she made clothes and did alterations for her family and others. Fredetta worked as a clerk for Schlegel's Grocery for over 50 years. She loved children very much and they were very special to her. Fredetta spent many hours reading the bible and taught adult and children's Sunday School for several years. Survivors include her sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Harold Roth, Aloha and Wayne Roth, Lorene "Lori" and Earl McCullough, all of Milford, brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Eleanor Roth, all of Milford; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Esther Roth, sister, Arvilla Schweitzer, brothers-in-law, Wilton Schweitzer and Willis Roth, a niece, Kendra Roth, and an infant niece.
