PekarekJennifer Ann Pekarek was born December 4, 1989, in Friend, Nebraska to Rodney and Wendy (Tibbetts) Kuhl, the 2nd of three children and died suddenly, Monday, October 4, 2010, near Milford at the age of 20 years and 10 months. As a young girl she attended Centennial and Seward Public Schools. Even though Janae did not graduate from high school she was a gifted honor student. She had a good outlook about life and enjoyed teasing and having fun with her friends. She began her working career working in the laundry at Sunrise Country Manor, later earning her CNA designation and continued her employment at Crestview Care Center. Janae loved music and enjoyed many hours of walking with family,friends, and her dogs surrounding herself with nature. Janae is survived by her husband, Shad Pekarek, Utica, mother, Wendy Tibbetts, Milford, sisters, Nicole and Abbey Kuhl, Milford, father, Rodney Kuhl, York, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her aunts, Joan Tibbetts, Kathy Tibbetts and Lois DeWitt, grandparents, Elmer and Connie Kuhl, and Horace and Gladys Tibbetts. Memorial Services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Christy-Smith Funeral Home, Morning Side Chapel 1801 Morninghside Ave, Sioux City, IA.Memorials may be directed in care of the family. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City. Local arrangements are entrusted to Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Milford.
