In Memory OfJoEllen Domino JoEllen Marjorie Domino was born in Manning, Iowa on October 10, 1952 to Leo and Marjorie (Wilke) Domino, the third of four children and died on Monday, August 20, 2007 at her home in Milford, Nebraska at the age of 54 years 10 months and 10 days. As a young girl she moved to Omaha, Nebraska where she attended Omaha Central High School. She was united in marriage to Randy Hansen on November 12, 1969 and to this union a daughter, Jenifer was born. JoEllen was a busy homemaker raising her daughter while working part time cleaning houses in Omaha. She later worked in the Omaha Public School system as a paraprofessional teaching English as a second language until her health began to fail, forcing her to retire in 2001. JoEllen had a very strong will which allowed her to continue to live independently in Omaha, eventually moving to Milford in August of 2006 to be near her daughter, Jenifer. JoEllen loved working in her flower beds and playing pool during the winter months. Her favorite companions were her dog, Billie and her cat, Katz. In her spare time, she liked to write poetry. "JoJo", as she was affectionately known by her friends, was a loving and caring person and Jenifer's children were very special to her. At the time of her death, she was surrounded by her daughter, sister, son-in-law, nephews, step-brother and wife, god daughter, our special angel, Marsha, friends, and her faithful dog and cat. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jenifer and Kevin Negron, Milford, two grandsons, T.J. Osmun and Kage Negron, both of Milford, sister, Linda Domino, Omaha, brother, Randy Domino, Omaha and a host of other relatives and friends. JoEllen was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Domino and Marjorie Schafer, and a brother, Billy Domino. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Grace Missionary Church, Milford, with Rev. Andrew Petro officiating. Cremation, no viewing. A register book is available for signing Wednesday 9am-5pm at Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Milford. Memorials have been established to the education fund of her grandsons. Music played during the service included "White Bird", "Seasons In The Sun", "In My Daughters Eyes", "I Can Only Imagine", "Take My Life", "Amazing Grace" and prelude music by Kenny G. Jenifer Negron read a poem written by JoEllen and Julie Schafer read a favorite poem. Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Milford, is entrusted with the arrangements.
