A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Grace Missionary Church with Pastor Bryan Conrad officiating. Interment will be in Blue Mound Cemetery, Milford. Visitation will be on Friday 2-8 pm at Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Milford with family greeting relatives and friends from 5-7 pm. Memorials are directed in care of the family.

Kimberly Ann Spaugh was born April 17, 1960 in Fremont, Nebraska to George and Carol Karpisek, the oldest of five girls and passed away suddenly Saturday, October 22, 2016 in Lexington at the age of 56. She attended North Bend Central Jr-Sr High School and graduated with the class of 1978. Kimberly furthered her education through Job Corp and graduated as a CNA. She worked as a nurses aid for several years. Kimberly was employed at Tabitha in Lincoln when she met Larry and they were united in marriage October 21, 1984 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Together they made their home in Lincoln, Crete, Wilber and have lived in Milford the last five years. She attended Grace Missionary Church whenever her work schedule would allow.

Most recently, Kimberly was employed at Walmart, working in the Crete store. Kimberly will be remembered for her loving smile and happy attitude.

Kimberly always had a book in her hand when she wasn't busy and was an avid reader of fantasy fiction. Kimberly and Larry enjoyed traveling around the local area sightseeing and "finding out where that road goes".

She is survived by her husband, Larry, Milford, sisters and brothers-in-law, Cynthia Ault, Omaha, Robin Timm, Aurora, CO, Kelley and Mike Fujan, Wahoo, Kristen and Randy Aase, Shelby, eight nieces and nephews, Robert Karpisek and Matthew Ault, both of Omaha, Kevin Timm, Denver, CO, Jessica Mahler, Cincinnati, OH, Michelle Fujan and Julie Helberg, both of Wahoo, Erin Aase, Bellevue, Sidney Aase, Lincoln, and a host of other relatives and friends.
