Lillian R. Eberspacher Obituary (1909

In Memory OfLillian R. EberspacherLillian Rosina Eberspacher, 94, of Lincoln, formerly of Seward and Milford, died Monday, October 20, 2003, at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln. She was born April 12, 1909, in Seward County near Seward to Robert Vogt, Sr. and Emily (Hohn), the 2nd of six children. As a young girl she attended Star School District #58 and later graduated from Milford High School with the Class of 1928. Lillian was united in marriage to Arthur Eberspacher on March 12, 1931 at Lincoln, Nebraska and to this union four sons, Charles, Ronald, David and Stephen were born.Together they made their home in the rural Seward area where Arthur farmed and Lillian was a busy homemaker. She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the Goehner Grange #371, all near Goehner. Lillian also was a member of the Three "J's" Extension Club. She was an avid gardener raising vegetables and flowers. Lillian loved to bake, can and prepare vegetables, cook and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Dorothy Eberspacher, Lincoln, Ron and Marilyn Eberspacher, Milford, Steve and Linda Eberspacher, Seward, daughter-in-law, Coral Eberspacher, Milford, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, sister Mildred Hentzen, Seward, special care-giver, Deanna Harris, Lincoln and a host of other relatives and friends.Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur in 1994, son, David in 2001, granddaughter, Mary in 1963, two sisters, Elsa Odom, Viola Christensen, two brothers, Robert Vogt, Jr., and Ted Vogt.A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 24, 2003, at Salem United Methodist Church, Rural Seward, with Rev. Lowell Gaither officiating. Visitation is from 1-9 pm Wednesday and 9am-9pm Thursday at Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Milford, and one hour before services ay the Church.
