Peggy A. JohnsonPeggy Ann Johnson was born on February 20, 1947 at Friend, Nebraska, the youngest child of Roy and Alice (Chase) Johnson and died Monday, May 24, 2010 at BryanLGH West Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 63 years 3 months and 4 days. As a young girl, Peggy attended Dorchester Public School. Peggy worked in several restaurants in the Dorchester and Crete area as a cook and doing the salad preparation. She lived most of her life in Dorchester with her mother and brother until her health began to fail and she moved to the Crete Manor. Peggy enjoyed walking and visiting with her neighbors. In her spare time, Peggy collected records of her favorite singers from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Peggy is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Billie and Don Maas, Firth, Mona and Don Shuman, Omaha, Connie Ervin, Greentown, IN, brother and sister-in-law, Vern and Sharon Johnson, Geneva, sister-in-law, Belva Johnson, York, many nieces nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
