In Memory OfSis JensenSis Jensen was born to August and Alba (Zajic) Hulse on a farm in Saline County near Friend, Nebraska and died on Friday, December 7, 2007 at BryanLGH East Medical Center in Lincoln. As a young girl, she attended and graduated with the class of 1943 from Exeter High School and was later united in marriage to Lowell Jensen. To this union three children, Henry "Hank", Deann and Dawn were born.They made their home for many years in the Fairmont, Exeter and Cordova areas where Sis was a busy homemaker and mother. She also spent many years helping with leadership training for both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Sis enjoyed creating crocheted and knitted items, was an avid crossword puzzle fan and enjoyed baking for her family. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Cordova and enjoyed participating in church activities. Sis is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Henry "Hank" and Kim Jensen, Exeter, daughters and son-in-law, Deann McMahon, Surprise, AZ and Dawn and John Hiatt, Fishers, IN, seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2007 at Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Friend with Pastor Jerry Gill officating. Interment is in Andrew Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to the Nebraska Kidney Association.
