Victoria Ann Vickrey Obituary (1959

In Memory ofVictoria VickreyVictoria Ann Vickrey, of Cordova, was born on June 14, 1959 in Kansas City, MO, the 3rd of five children to Don M. and Phyllis (Daughtery) Kershaw, and died suddenly, Monday, May 14, 2007 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Friend at age of 47 years and 11 months. She moved with her family to Aurora, Colorado where she attended elementary and high school, eventually earning her GED from Crete High School in Crete, NE. "Vicky", as she was affectionately known by her family was united in marriage to Robert "Vic" Vickrey in Warsaw, Missouri on April 24, 1976 and to the union one son and two daughters were born. Together they made their home at various military bases around the world while Vic served his country in the US Army. Vicky wanted a special place to call home, and they purchased a home in Cordova, Nebraska in October of 1993. Vicky worked for a time at Warren Memorial Hospital where she completed requirements for becoming a Certified Medical Assistant. In 1999, she graduated from SECC as an LPN and worked at Hearthstone in York. Vicky was a super mom and had a heart of gold. She loved doing crafts such as crocheting blankets and doing needlepoint and embroidery. In her spare time she was an avid reader and loved to go fishing with Vic, especially like Smith Creek and Crystal Springs. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Vic", Cordova, son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Andrea Vickrey, Aurora, CO, daughters, Dawn and Alia, both of Cordova, three grandchildren, Aviana Fernandez, Robert and Kyrin Vickrey, all of Aurora, CO, mother, Phyllis Hedrick, Mayview, MO, sister, Laurie Ladd, Gravois Mills, MO, Bridget King, Vefuniaka Springs, FL, brothers, Terry Kershaw, Gulfport, MS, Mark Kershaw, Salt Lake City, UT, parents-in-law, Robert and Edonisa Vickrey, Aurora, CO, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joseph and Debra Vickrey, Aurora, CO, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her father, Don KershawVisitation is 9am a
