In Memory OfWendy A. HouseWendy Amanda House, of Friend, died suddenly, Monday, March 21, 2005, at her home in Friend at the age of 31 years 8 months and 12 days. She was born July 9, 1973 in Dallas, Texas to Nelda (Easley) and John A. Glover the 2nd of two children. She attended Stratford High School in Houston, Texas and graduated with the class of 1990. While she was in high school she was an excellent vocalist singing in the Chorale Choir and she was also very active in Theatre. After her graduation she studied abroad in Brussels Belgium. She furthered her education by attending the University of Texas at Arlington where she majored in French and minored in English. Recently, Wendy was attending the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where she was working to obtain a teaching certificate for high school French and English. She was blessed with the birth of Emma Rose on July 28 in Dallas and she later was united in marriage to Jeff House on January 16, 1999 in Neligh, Nebraska and to this union two children, Logan and Jewel were born. Together they made their home in Arlington, Texas, moving to Nebraska and lived in Lincoln, making their home in Friend in 2001. Wendy was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church in Crete. She was a busy mother and enjoyed sewing and gardening in her spare time. She operated JWHouse Adventures which was a web site where she sold her specialized embroidery. Wendy listed many items on e-bay with directions to her web site. Wendy was an avid reader.She is survived by her husband Jeff House, children, Emma, Logan and Jewel, all of Friend, mother Nelda F. Robison, Houston, TX, sisters and brothers-in-law, Stacy and Mike Bedner, Houston, Judy Seeber, Waco, TX, Jean Johnston, Dallas, Joan Bartleson, Bonners Ferry, ID, Sharon and Ray Griffin, Dallas, Toni Glover, Scranton, PA, Stephanie Solis, Dallas, Gia and Eric Wood, Dallas, brothers and sister-in-law, Allen and Gloria Glover, Dallas, Rhett Glover, Dallas, mother-in-law, Karolyn House, Neligh, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kristol and Kenneth Schwenn, Denison, IA, Connie and Eric Schindler, Pleasant Dale, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her father, John Allen Glover, grandmother, Jewel Lee Woodard.A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Friend. Visitation is from 4-9 pm on Wednesday at Lauber-Moore Funeral Home. Memorials have been established and are directed in care of the family for the children's education.
